Double Chocolate Scone


  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1/3 cup dark cocoa powder

  • 1 Tbs baking powder

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ cup unsalted butter

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1 ½ Tbs cream

  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips

Pre-heat oven to 400° Grease two 9” cake pans

In a mixing bowl, sift together dry ingredients, and then cut in the butter until crumbly Add milk and cream Stir in dark chocolate chips Divide in two and add batter to two pans

Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out free of batter

Top with Kasselfest/Strawberry reduction and sliced fresh strawberries
